T&C

All clients are requested to complete and sign a detailed client record card in compliance with the Animal Welfare Act. This helps us to provide a tailored service to you and your dog. It is your responsibility to notify us of any changes to your dog’s details and any health and/or medical conditions. Data is confidential and will not be passed onto any 3rd party.

Photographs
Your dog may be photographed before, during and after its groom. These images may be used on the Dashing Dogz website, Facebook page and other online sites. If you would prefer us not to use your dog’s photo, please inform us.

Payment
All grooming costs are payable in full on collection of your dog. Payment can be made by cash or cheque. Please refer to our Price List for more details. Please be punctual as we work by appointment only, on a one-to-one basis. An agreed time of collection will be given before your dog is left. Please telephone us if you are running late. HOWEVER, collection after 30 mins after the agreed time will incur fees of £5.00 for the first 30 mins then £5.00 for every 15 mins after.

Cancellations
Cancellations must be made more than 1 business day before your appointment. Failure to do so will incur the full groom fee. Missed appointments will incur the full groom fee, payable at the next appointment.

Severely matted coats
Neglected and matted coats, in compliance with the Animal Welfare Act will be clipped short to release the dog from its coat. Dashing Dogz Ltd will not be liable for any post grooming effects of this procedure, which is not without risk. You will be given a cost before leaving your dog; a clip down requires more skill, time, product and wear and tear on tools and equipment than a routine groom.

Health and Safety
Whilst your pet is in our care, its health and safety is my primary concern. Although extremely unlikely, accidents can occur during the grooming process and in the event of an emergency we will seek emergency veterinary treatment. We will always endeavor to contact you prior to treatment.

If a dog shows signs of aggression a muzzle may be used. However, we reserve the right to refuse to groom any dog at risk of harming itself or us. Any aggression shown during the groom will result in termination of the session. You will be contacted to collect your dog. You will be charged for the cost of grooming up until that point.

You must inform us if your dog has ever bitten or
displayed aggression.

Failure to disclose this information may result in refusal
of further services. Your attention is drawn to the Dangerous Dogs Act, which
holds owners liable for bites and injuries caused by their dogs.
